Getting started

Download the app from the App Store or Google Play and tap "Sign Up". You'll need a valid email address. We'll send a verification email — click the link to activate your account. The whole process takes under two minutes.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter the email address associated with your account. We'll send a password-reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive. The link expires after 60 minutes for security.
Some of our apps support Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google. Where available, these options appear on the login and sign-up screens. We receive only the basic profile data (email address and name) that you authorise when setting up social login.
Our Terms of Service permit one account per person unless a feature explicitly supports multiple profiles. Creating duplicate accounts to evade a suspension or ban is a violation of our Terms.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app. Alternatively, email [email protected] from your registered address with the subject "Account deletion request". Personal identifiers are deleted or anonymised within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.

Push & email notifications

We send two categories:

Transactional — these are essential to your account: login verification codes, security alerts (new device sign-in, password changed), and critical service updates. You cannot opt out of these while your account is active.

Marketing & product — new features, tips, and relevant content. These are entirely optional and you can unsubscribe at any time.
In the app: go to Settings → Notifications and toggle off the categories you don't want.

On iOS: Settings → [App name] → Notifications → Allow Notifications (off).
On Android: Settings → Apps → [App name] → Notifications → toggle off.
Click the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email, or go to Settings → Notifications → Email in the app and disable "Marketing & product news". You'll be removed from marketing lists within 10 business days. Transactional emails (security alerts, receipts) will continue.
1. Check that notifications are enabled in your device Settings (see above).
2. Make sure you're connected to the internet.
3. In the app's notification settings, confirm the relevant categories are enabled.
4. Try logging out and back in — this refreshes your push token.
5. If the issue persists, contact [email protected] with your device model and OS version.

Your data, your rights

We collect your email address, display name, and password hash when you register. As you use the app we collect usage events, crash logs, and your device's push notification token. We do not collect your location, contacts, or payment card details. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
No. We do not sell personal information to any third party — advertising or otherwise. Data is shared only with service providers (cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting) under strict data-processing agreements, and with authorities where legally required.
Email [email protected] from your registered address with the subject "Data access request". We will provide a copy of your personal data within 30 days, as required under the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
You can update your display name, profile photo, and other profile fields directly in the app under Settings → Profile. For corrections to other data (e.g. if we have the wrong email on file), contact [email protected].
Data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in Australia (ap-southeast-2) and/or the United States. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). See our Data Safety page for more.
Yes. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where our apps are used by people in the EU, we also apply GDPR standards. Privacy concerns can be escalated to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

What the app can access

Camera permission is optional and only requested when you attempt to take a photo — for example, to update your profile picture or capture in-app media. The camera is never accessed in the background. You can deny or revoke this permission without affecting core app functionality.
No. Our apps do not request or collect your device location — neither precise GPS nor approximate location. If a future app feature requires location, it will request permission at that time and the purpose will be clearly explained.
No. We do not request access to your device address book or contacts.
The only background activity is delivery of push notifications (if you have granted notification permission). The app does not collect location, contacts, microphone, or sensor data in the background.
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → [Permission type] → toggle off DizitalFabrik's app.
Android: Settings → Apps → [App name] → Permissions → select and revoke.

Revoking a permission takes effect immediately. You may need to restart the app.

Age rating and content safety

Our apps are rated Everyone (E) / PEGI 3 by default, meaning they contain no violence, sexual content, or age-inappropriate material. Apps that include social networking or user-generated content features typically require users to be 13 or older. Individual app store pages show the specific rating for each app.
Some apps include optional third-party advertising (Google AdMob). Ads are never shown to users under 13, and personalised ads require your consent and are only shown to users 18+. You can opt out of personalised ads at any time in Settings → Privacy → Advertising, or via your device's "Limit Ad Tracking" setting.
Where our apps allow posting or sharing content, users must comply with our Community Guidelines. We use a combination of automated filtering and human moderation. Users can report inappropriate content using the in-app "Report" button. Violations may result in content removal or account suspension.
Apps that do not include social features or UGC are suitable for all ages. Apps with social networking features are intended for users 13 and over, and include safety features such as user blocking, content reporting, and restricted interaction for younger users. See our Data Safety page for the specific audience declaration for each app type.
